Georgia Guidestones: Bombed And Demolished

The Georgia Guidestones were supposedly partially destroyed by an explosion today. When people think explosion, they think bomb. From the video, and I’m not an expert, but I have handled explosives in the military, I don’t think so.

One, the Guidestones have been under surveillance since they were vandalized (STORY) a bit ago. So why no video of the bombers?

Two, that would take more than a bit of explosive to damage a twenty-ton slab of granite like that, I reckon. But the C-4 I handled is probably not what is used now. Probably much more powerful stuff.

Three, watching the video above, I’m thinking lightning. I would think the force of an explosion would have shattered the lights nearby. But then I would also think a power surge that it looks like would have blown the lights and cameras.

I find it interesting. I have visited the Giidestines and I was not impressed. Their placement is weird as well. I would have placed them on a hill but you actually walk a slight incline down to them. And they’re off a country road intersection. Just not placed as a “big thing” like this should be.

Me looking through the hole in the center slab.

I’m glad I have pics of the Guidestones because after the “explosion” today, they’ve been demolished due to safety concerns. Curious, an investigation of a bombing that could be seen as domestic terrorism by definition would take longer you’d think. Here’s a link to Fortean Times with the story and video. Video of a car leaving shortly after but no footage of the person or persons planting the explosives. I call BS.

I’m going to keep an eye on this. It’s weird enough and about a strange enough place to hold my interest.

Get off the highway!
