This is going to be short but sweet.
My wife had an accident two weeks ago. There was a tree across the road and she didn’t have time to stop so she actually hit and jumped the tree.
You can see the aftermath.
Today the insurance company called and informed that they’d decided to total the car.
This car has taken us on SO many adventures across the mountains of NC and throughout SC that I couldn’t let it go without marking its passing here. It was a part of the family.
It survived many adventures but eventually it couldn’t survive my wife. Lol
The most important thing of course is that she and my daughter were safe and injury free from the accident.
We got lucky. You never know when your time is up. I’ve been dwelling on that lately. I’m not trying to be all doom and gloom. I’m just appreciating what I have while I have it.
Every day is judgment day. That’s what I’ve heard anyway.
I just wanted to post a little and say goodbye.
I was rather proud of that.
